New Ross - Horrace H. Routh, 81, of Rt 1 a retired employee of Montgomery County Weights & Measures died early today in Culver Hospital. Mr. Routh served 25 years with the weights and measures. He was a retired farmer, a member of the New Ross American Legion, New Ross Christian Church and 50-year member of Jamestown Masonic Lodge. Mr. Routh was a veteran of WWI. He was born Jan 30, 1892 at New Ross, son of James and Alice Inlow Routh. He married Anna Routh June 30, 1919 at Danville, Ill. Surviving with the widow are a son, Robert of New Ross; a daughter, Mrs. Jean VanScoyoc of New Ross; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m Thursday in Walker Funeral Home at Jamestown with burial in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
